Hi there everyone ,
Thank you for joining us for another Simply Sketched Saturday Challenge! We’re so excited to be sharing this hop with you.
Todays Sketch came from the lovely Karen McDonald. So thanks Karen, I enjoyed making this one.
This sketch is a great one to play with, so many options…….
I don’t know if you are aware but I went to On Stage last weekend, which is an event run by Stampin Up. They launch their new catalogue at this event and as a demonstrator we were lucky enough to get our grubby little inky fingers on it!! Yay. Some great products and Stamp sets and all sorts of yumminess coming your way soon enough. As well as getting the new catalogue they also run a thing called Prize Patrol, where you are given a badge with a colour on it at the start of the event and if your colour gets called you win a prize. Anyway I won! Yay! I won a stampset called shooting star. You are going to love it, It has matching framelits Yay but i don’t have them YET. Boo.
Anyway when I saw this sketch I just new what I was going to do and you get to have a sneak peek……so drumroll please………
Are those bee’s not the cutest ever!! Unfortunately you don’t get the honey though…lol.
I have teamed this card with the English Garden DSP and soft Sky card stock. The bee is small enough to just stamp right in a 1″ circle punch without having to line it up. My embellishment had to be the larger bee that you get with the set and as I don’t have the framelits (YET) I just fussy cut round the bee and elevated it up with dimensionals.
I am glad you hopped by today and I am sure you are in for a real treat, as you never know there may be more sneak peeks on the hop this week.
Thank you as always for popping by. Simply use the buttons below to keep hopping.
The products used are from the future Stampin’ Up!® Catalogue which will be released in June. Incidentally if you would like me to add you to my mailing list to send you out this new catalogue when it is released just leave me a comment and I will contact you. Thanks for joining me today. Have a great weekend Whatever you may be doing 🙂 x
